Work in stone quarries hazardous labour-Children carry loads far too heavy for their body size; they risk accidents from the use of explosives and they are constantly exposed to fine dust that can cause severe eye injury, develop skin problems resulting from prolonged periods working in intense sun and heat, and suffer dehydration.

Child Labour In Stone Quarrying In Madagascar

Quarrying stone is hard and dangerous work, particularly for children.People use stons for construction material or to make gravel in Madagascar. After doing some basic research I was motivated by the following issues and solution is to make rule that people can not use young children to do works. Because if it don't have that rule, people well use young children to do works. Another solution is let people know that is bad to the children when they were doing hard work, or the work that can hart them.

Child Labors

  • Quarrying in Madagascar

    Questions:

    What are the causes?

Some parents want their child to work because their poverty do not provide that much for them.

    How big is the problem?

Children who do quarrying meet have many problems with their spine. They meet not grow taller. Or their bone meet easily to get pain.

    Who is affected?

Children in the towns, children in the countryside and younger children are affected.

    Why are children still affected?

Children's parents still want their children to go to work. Because their parents can not work.

Is anything being done to address the issue?

Use pictures to shock children's parents. The pictures should display how those work effected children's life, how danger the work is and how the work effected children's healthy. This will work because the children's parents will start to worry about their children's healthy and they will all know how hard children's work are.

Are any solutions achievable in the near future?

Same as the one that to use pictures to shock children's parents. Or use play and sounds to shock children's parents too. The play can show how those work effected children's life. And how those work effected children's healthy.
